If you only have 7 days to explore a new destination, Tokyo should definitely be on your list. Start your trip off by spending your first day exploring the city. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Okinawan dinner and catch a live performance of local music and dance.
On the sixth day of your trip, visit Hiroshima, a city that is known for its tragic history. Visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which was built to commemorate the victims of the atomic bomb that was dropped on the city in 1945. Visit the Hiroshima Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and take a stroll through the beautiful Shukkei-en Garden. End your 7-day trip in Osaka, a vibrant city known for its food and shopping. Visit the Osaka Castle and take a ride on the famous Ferris wheel located in the nearby Hep Five shopping center. Indulge in some of the city's famous street food, such as takoyaki and okonomiyaki. Shop until you drop in the popular shopping districts of Shinsaibashi and Namba.
