Day 1: Exploring Historical and Cultural Sites

Start your three-day trip in the city center and visit some of the iconic historical and cultural sites in the area. The ideal starting point for your journey is the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Beijing's most famous landmarks. This sprawling palace complex, which dates back to the 15th century, was once home to China's emperors and is a magnificent example of Chinese architecture and design.

Afterward, venture to the nearby Tiananmen Square, the site of many important events in China's history. The square is surrounded by historical monuments such as the Great Hall of the People and the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. Walk around the square and take in the sights and sounds of the bustling city around you before visiting the National Museum of China, one of the largest museums in the world.

In the afternoon, explore the hutongs, traditional alleyways lined with courtyards, gardens, and shops, in the neighborhoods surrounding the Forbidden City. Many of these neighborhoods are home to artisan shops, teahouses, and traditional Chinese medicine shops.

Take a tour of the building and admire the panoramic views of the city from the top floors.

Day 3: Exploring the Great Wall and Temple of Confucius

No trip to Beijing is complete without a visit to the Great Wall of China, one of the world's most iconic landmarks. Take an early morning tour to the Mutianyu section of the wall, located about 70 kilometers from the city center. This section of the wall offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and is slightly less crowded than other parts of the wall.

After a morning on the wall, head back to the city center and visit the Temple of Confucius. This temple is one of the oldest and most important Confucian temples in China and houses a number of historical and cultural artifacts.
