Day 1: Exploring Historical Beijing

Start your first day in Beijing by visiting the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former imperial palace of China. Built in the early 15th century, it covers a massive area of 72 hectares and has over 9,000 rooms.
