Day 1: Exploring Historical Beijing

Start your first day in Beijing by visiting the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former imperial palace of China. Built in the early 15th century, it covers a massive area of 72 hectares and has over 9,000 rooms. The palace contains many cultural relics and historic treasures, such as the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the largest hall in the palace.

After the Forbidden City, head to Jingshan Park, located just north of the palace. Day 4: Embracing the Culture and Cuisine of Beijing
